While I've had the privilege of living abroad, my heart has always remained deeply connected to Punjab. The opportunity to give back to the community and contribute to its progress has always been a personal goal. I felt that my experience and skills would be most valuable here, where I can contribute to the growth of agri-food processing sector and generate employment for rural youths.
By leaving Canadian citizenship, I have made a conscious decision to dedicate myself fully to this mission. Choosing Commitment Over Comfort: Giving up citizenship of a developed country like Canada wasn't easy. However, the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to my home state and improve the food processing and agri business outweighed personal comfort.
I was aware that giving up Canadian citizenship would be a significant sacrifice, but the chance to take on a leadership role where I can directly impact the lives of citizens in Punjab was far more compelling. I believe that leadership requires sacrifice, and I am willing to dedicate my experience and energy to bring positive changes to Punjab's food processing sector.”
One of my goals is to bring the best business practices from my international experience and international know how and technology back to Punjab, helping the state's food processing sector align with global standards while addressing local needs
I would like to emphasize that this decision is part of a long-term commitment to Punjab, and that I see the role of an entrepreneur as an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives.
I believe that true fulfillment comes from contributing to your homeland and leaving a legacy of positive change
